WEDDING DAY IN GRASSY PARK

SAMANTHA & ADRIAN

Monday was a public holiday and an ideal Wedding Day. The sun was hot but overcast with a slight breeze. The Wedding of +Samantha and +Adrian  was a spur of the moment Wedding, yet everything  went down as smooth as silk. It took less than two weeks to plan, finance and execute their Wedding.  Timing was impeccable and the entire proceedings was just smart. It started at 3 in the afternoon and by 3:30 everyone was seated in the church and the pastor was busy delivering his pre-wedding sermon to the Bride and Groom and the guests. Samantha looked really elegant and her husband +Adrian really handsome. The bridesmaids looked lovely too, with their gold and black dresses but the Wedding Cake was to die for, not to mention the monster chauffeur driven limousine. The bestmen and bridesmaids were each chauffeured in  a Black VW Polo. The Wedding Cake was a five tier flower cake which can be viewed below. It was really stunning but I dear to say that it tasted much, much nicer than it looked. It was mouth watering thick chocolate cake with decadent layers of mousse.

We went to Arderne Claremont Gardens to take the Wedding photographs and eventhough the time spend there was short the photographs are really going to make a splendid photobook. Claremont gardens with its beautiful selection of obscure trees and foliage is famous as a venue for Wedding photography. Samantha had a beautiful dainty diamond ring with matching gold earrings and matching tiara. She looked like royalty. Adrian wore a white suit which is really uncommon in the hired tuxedo world, but it made him look the part. His bestmen wore black suits with matching ties and complimented him beautifully.   The hall was wonderfully decorated for more than 200 guests. Tasty food was in abundance and so were the speeches. It all started out with a prayer of thanks and ended off with a prayer of thanks. By 8 the evening the Wedding came to finality and Adrian was ready to take his wife Samantha to the honeymoon destination.

WEDDING DAY PHOTOGRAPHY IN RONDEBOSCH EAST 2

WARDA & SALMAAN

The marriage between +Salmaan and +Warda took place on Sunday past. The Wedding proceedings started out with a one hour Dhikr by the Naqshbandi order headed up by +Dr Yusuf Da Costathe Southern Africa Khalifah of Mawlana Shaykh Nazim Haqqani of Cyprus - the head of the worldwide Naqshbandi Order. Salaam the groom is his grandson, the son of his daughter +Latifa, a prominent practicing dentist. I am a Wedding Photographer As can be seen by the photographs below, Dr Yusuf Da Costa is presiding over the Nikah which took place at Taronga Road Masjied. The mosque was very well attended and the traditional breakfast for men after the Nikah  in the adjoining hall was however attended by both men and women as can also be seen on the photographs below. There was lots to eat and drink from traditional koeksisters to samosas, to pies, to cocktail pizzas, to spiced beef rolls and sausage rolls.

The female guests also witnessed the Nikah from the back of the mosque sitting alongside +Warda the bride of +Salmaan. She was really beautifully dressed and in my opinion, her morning Wedding dress was far more dashing than her afternoon Wedding Gown. Warda looked like the picture-book version of +Cinderella after the glass slipper fitted her foot qualifying her to marry her prince charming. Her bridesmaids look really beautiful, each had a white umbrella which was really apt considering the sun was so intense on her Wedding Day.
